Meet The Pastry Chefs
La famiglia Cangialosi
Giuseppe and Tony Cangialosi were born and raised in Borgetto, a charming Italian town on the island of Sicily. Their father owned a small neighborhood bakery and café, where they spent countless hours learning the craft of baking and the ins and outs of the business. In 1985, the brothers moved to Detroit, bringing their passion for authentic Italian baking with them.

In 2017, they decided to share their cherished family recipes with the metro Detroit community. Together with Joe's three sons, Giuseppe and Tony now operate five retail bakeries. To expand their reach, they established Michigan Pastry Company, a wholesale business dedicated to providing high-quality baked goods to local markets, bakeries, and restaurants. Today, their delicious creations can be found in hundreds of businesses throughout the Midwest.
